Welbeck Sailing Club operates within a privately owned estate, and we kindly remind all members and prospective members that access to the lake is strictly controlled to protect the privacy, security, and wellbeing of the estate and its surroundings.

Access to the site must be via motor vehicle only. Walking access is not permitted. All visitors must also use only the designated access route, and should not attempt to enter the estate or lakeside areas by any alternative paths.

To help maintain safety, please ensure that all gates are closed securely behind you, and do not allow anyone else to enter the estate unless they are part of your pre-arranged visit. Livestock are often grazing in the area, and their safety—as well as the integrity of the estate—is paramount.

A 25 mph speed limit is in force throughout the estate. Please drive with care and remain vigilant at all times, giving absolute priority to livestock and wildlife.

Prospective members are warmly welcomed; however, all visits must be arranged in advance. Please meet at the agreed meeting point, where a club representative will accompany you onto the estate. Prospective members must remain with their accompanying club member at all times until their membership is confirmed.
